This overview is devoted to investigation of stochastic evolution in which a family of evolution equations in \(L^1\) is driven by continuous-time Markov processes. The results are illustrated by selected amount of physical and biological examples. Here we also emphasize the role of Markov semigroups in describing these processes. We investigate long-time behavior of this phenomenon. We discuss some future perspectives to investigate in this field.
