Case Study 1: CS-27/29 Low Speed Controllability and Manoeuvrability
摘要
This Chapter presents the results from the Case Study on Low Speed Controllability and Manoeuvrability, with a focus on hover in cross-wind conditions. Starting from a review of conventional flight test compliance demonstration practices, the initial FSM and FS requirements for a RCbS approach are discussed. The FSM development is considered from the perspectives of predictive fidelity and simulation uncertainty quantification. Piloted FS testing is illustrated using an exploratory example from the RoCS project. Finally, credibility assessment and compliance demonstration considerations are presented.
