Trauma Team Development: Leadership and Collaboration
摘要
Trauma team dynamics are an integral part of the initial evaluation and management of trauma patients. Comprised of individuals, trauma team members are tasked with specific roles and responsibilities led by a team leader who oversees and manages the team. The efficacy of this team is largely dependent on their ability to evaluate, intervene, and reassess. Coordination and communication among team members enhance team performance and allow the team to rapidly and efficiently care for the trauma patient. Problem solving, decision making, and communication techniques, such as the OODA loop and closed-loop communication, should be utilized by each specific team member to mitigate confusion during trauma activations.
