Modeling of the Child’s Lower Urinary Tract
摘要
In this article, we present some numerical models of the child’s lower urinary system. We consider the bladder, which has a dual function of reservoir and emptying, the ureters consisting of inlets of the fluid in the bladder and the urethra as outlet. The objective of these models, based on clinical data provided by pediatric surgeons is to help us understand the healthy functioning of the system. Models are constructed step by step: first we consider only the fluid in a moving domain with a free surface, then we incorporate the structure to take into account the interaction between the fluid and the detrusor, the muscle of the bladder. These first 2D numerical results reproduce physiological behavior in the different situations of filling and voiding.
