Analysis and Findings
摘要
This chapter presents the analysis and results of the study using the Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB) model. The analysis examines workload data, identifies key service demands, and allocates resources based on actual service delivery. The model considers factors such as committed and uncommitted patrol time, staffing levels, and the cost of various police activities. By analyzing call data and resource utilization, the ABB model provides a data-driven framework for optimizing resource allocation, improving efficiency, and enhancing service delivery. The analysis also shows how the ABB framework was used to overcome some political opposition to expanding the police department.
