The paper explores the integration of IoT and solar energy technologies to revolutionize water management, specifically focusing on smart irrigation. The research delves into the potential of IoT based automation systems, emphasizing smart irrigation for optimizing water usage. It discusses the implementation of solar energy based pumping systems. A proposed framework introduces remote monitoring with supervisory control and data acquisition. This research outlines the operational flow of a solar pumping system, components and emphasizing solar power use. Results demonstrate stable and efficient operation without the use of electricity from the grid. Despite challenges, the integration of IoT and solar energy holds promise for reshaping traditional farming, offering efficient solar energy usage for sustainable smart agriculture.
