Where We Prefer to Work
摘要
This chapter describes the three work location preferences employees have settled in: the home, the office, and a mix of both. To help readers understand who these @home, @office, and @hybrid employee are, we develop a demographic profile for each employee preference. We reveal surprising findings. For example, home-preferring employees are very often men in senior leadership positions whereas office-preferring employees are often women in senior leadership positions; hybrid-preferring employees are a strong alliance of working moms and senior leaders. This chapter sets the stage for the core premise of our book—that there is great, and often unexpected, diversity in employees’ work location preferences.
