How Do Leaders Align Their Teams
摘要
In this chapter, we speak to mid-level managers who are charged with leading teams but who lack decision-making authority regarding the company’s workplace strategy. We first suggest a team building activity designed to increase leaders’ awareness of the persona mix that exists on their team. We introduce our Awareness Raising Primer, and show how leaders can utilize this tool to lead their team through a Finding Common Ground team building session. Next, we return to the main focus of this book: finding alignment. We outline a series of alignment tactics that team leaders can implement to better align their team members internally, and to the company’s workplace strategy. In doing so, we highlight a pain point that team members in remote-first, office-forward, or hybrid organizations, respectively, have in common. We suggest that solving that pain point is how team leaders can get their teams to alignment.
