The floating substructure, the station keeping system and onboard machinery, equipment and systems including applicable marine systems and associated equipment and machinery, safety systems and associated equipment, and lifesaving appliances and machinery are to be designed in compliance with the standards and requirements contained in this book with intention that the Floating Offshore Wind Turbine can fulfil its intended functions during its design life and meet specified minimum requirements for serviceability and operability.
