Examining the Determinants of Social Media Adoption and Its Implications on Entrepreneurial Firms Performance: A TOE Approach
摘要
Social media has grown to be an essential part of entrepreneurial businesses, but little is known about how exactly it affects performance. Effective use of social media is difficult for many firms, which reduces their operational effectiveness and competitive advantage. By investigating how the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework might shed light on the variables driving social media adoption and its consequences for entrepreneurial performance, this study seeks to close this gap. We conducted a thorough literature analysis, concentrating on research released recent years, and examined peer-reviewed publications from significant academic databases. We determined the main organizational, technological, and environmental elements that influence performance indicators like market share, revenue growth, and consumer engagement and propel the adoption of social media. According to our research, technological aspects such as ease of use and integration potential have a big impact on social media effectiveness. Organizational factors are also crucial, such as resource allocation and competitive competencies. Furthermore, external factors like consumer relationships and market trends are crucial in amplifying the influence of social media on business performance. For entrepreneurial businesses looking to maximize their social media tactics for better performance, this research offers a thorough framework that describes the interaction of TOE elements.
