Mobile technology plays an important role in improving logistics services, especially in remote areas. While many studies recognize its benefits, there is a lack of understanding about how specific features of mobile technology connect with logistics tasks and affect service quality. This study uses the Task-Technology Fit (TTF) framework to investigate how mobile technology impacts logistics operations. We conducted a review of relevant literature from academic databases, focusing on peer-reviewed articles from the past two decades. The analysis revealed key themes related to task characteristics, usability, and their effects on logistics performance. Our findings show a strong positive relationship between mobile technology use and enhancements in logistics efficiency, real-time tracking, and communication. This suggests that customized mobile solutions can significantly improve service quality and operational metrics in remote logistics. Future research should focus on empirical studies to better understand TTF in various logistics settings and explore the long-term effects of mobile technology integration in the industry.
