The Impact of Board Characteristics on Firm Performance: Evidence from Jordan
摘要
This study investigates the relationship between board characteristics such as CEO Duality, Borad education level, Board Meeting, Board independence, Board Size, and Board Gender Diversity, and firm performance in Jordan. The study collected the date from 108 listed organization in Jordan. The study revealed that, board gender diversity, CEO duality, board meetings, board education level, and board size, do not significantly influence performance organization. However, CEO Duality significantly influenced the organization performance. Future research should explore a broader range of variables that may influence firm performance, including organizational culture, market conditions, and management practices.
