Around the world, global warming and climate change have emerged as one of the most explosive and alarming issues. The quickening pace of urbanization and industrialization is what’s caused the increase in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Accordingly, carbon dioxide (CO2) is thought to be the main cause of global warming and a major driver of greenhouse gases. Road transport is one of the major causes of carbon emission in the present world. The amount of carbon released into the environment by vehicles and the methods to diminish its impact has been a constant topic of research in recent years. Over centuries and decades, as national and global energy systems have changed, so has the spatial and temporal contribution of various fuel sources to CO2 emissions. In this research, aim has been to investigate, how the various physical characteristic of the vehicle influences fuel consumption. A quantitative study has been conducted and the correlation between the various factors has been investigated by using SPSS software. Furthermore, mathematically the level of carbon emission and fuel consumption has been explored in this research.
