Comprehensive Evaluation of the Properties of Highly Stretchable Poly (Isocyanurate-Urethane) Aerogels for Acoustic and Mechanical Applications
摘要
Poly (isocyanurate-urethane) aerogels are soft, lightweight, and nanoporous materials that exhibit excellent acoustic properties, making them an ideal choice for sound absorption and insulation applications. In this paper, we present the results of acoustic and mechanical tests conducted to evaluate their performance. To measure acoustic properties, we employed the impedance tube test, which assessed sound transmission loss at various frequencies. For mechanical properties, we conducted a compression test using the Instron machine, enabling us to determine the stress–strain curves and measure the material's recovery upon unloading. Our comprehensive evaluation ensures that these aerogels meet application requirements, including acoustic performance and mechanical resilience.
