Sustainability and Mechanical Behaviour of Polymers Based Composites Reinforced with Recycled Rubber, Carbon Fibres, GNP, Bi2O3
摘要
In this research, impact Behaviour of recycled polymers reinforced with recycled rubber based composites were investigated. Short Carbon Fiber, Silica and boron Nitride were used as the reinforcements. Effect of the reinforcements on the fracture characteristics of the composites were studied by impact loading tests (drop weight test) and cyclic compression tests under extreme (humidity and temperature) conditions. Thermal conductivity were measured for the different compositions. Microstructural and fracture surfaces analysis were also carried out by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
