The proposed treatment of the data derived from NDT techniques applied to cultural heritage objects concerns a bottom up approach based on the already developed signal and image processing tools applied to the in situ documentation of both movable and immovable cultural heritage objects using non-destructive techniques (NDT), minor destructive techniques (MDT) as well as other micro-analytical techniques.
