Kidney Disorders
摘要
The kidney plays a key role in regulating the body’s homeostasis by filtering the blood and creating urine, allowing maintenance of strict fluid and electrolyte balance, and participating in blood pressure control. Kidney disorders can have a variety of presentations including high blood pressure, flank pain, hematuria and proteinuria. This chapter will present 3 cases of common pediatric urinary tract problems and discuss the initial assessment and evaluation for these conditions.
