Cancer is a chronic medical condition experienced by children of all ages. Advances in the treatment of pediatric cancer, including increased outpatient treatment capabilities and therapy options, have led to more children with cancer being able to attend school. In addition to caring for children with a known cancer diagnosis, it is also possible to encounter children with signs and symptoms of a new-onset cancer. This chapter will present two cases of children with known cancer to highlight common side-effects of cancer-directed therapy to “TAME,” in addition to one case of a child presenting with signs and symptoms concerning for malignancy.
