Bleeding Disorders and Anemia
摘要
Bleeding disorders, including hemophilia and von Willebrand disease, may present as excessive bleeding from minor injuries, necessitating special accommodations at school. Anemia, a common condition in children, reduces red blood cell counts or hemoglobin, impairing oxygen delivery and affecting growth, cognitive development, and infection susceptibility. Iron deficiency is the primary cause worldwide and can cause symptoms such as fatigue, pallor, and reduced concentration. Both conditions can hinder academic performance and overall well-being. Early diagnosis and management, alongside educational initiatives, are essential. Schools play a crucial role by raising awareness, providing nutritional support, and ensuring a safe environment for children with hematological disorders.
