Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can have significant short and long-term implications on a person’s well-being and success. Schools can help mitigate some of this risk by implementing early intervention screening and prevention techniques. This chapter details two cases of children with ACEs to discuss potential considerations and intervention strategies in the practical school setting.
