The Acutely Injured Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist
摘要
There are many different pathologies that make up upper extremity injuries in the pediatric population. These include injuries to the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. With these injuries, it is important to always include comparison views to evaluate the affected versus the unaffected side. In the pediatric population, growth plate injuries are more common than ligament or tendon injuries. This chapter will discuss the different pathologies of upper extremity injuries, as well as the best next steps for treatment.
