Biomedical waste management is one of the critical necessities both for the healthcare enterprise and for society. Incorrect disposal of biomedical waste leads to disease burden and adverse impacts on the surroundings. BMWM is a shared responsibility that must become a shared duty between healthcare employees, healthcare centers, the authorities, and the majority. BMWM must be a collaborative effort involving proper segregation, transport, treatment, and disposal by using different technologies. Healthcare facilities are expected to allocate a storage area for medical waste that is away from public and displays warning signs. To address the challenges of biowaste, it is important for healthcare facilities to follow correct practices and to educate their workforce and the majority of the people on the importance of these practices. Different rules and regulations dealing with biomedical waste should be strictly implemented. By prioritizing biomedical waste management public health as well as and surroundings will ensure a safer and healthier future for all.
