We outline the perspectives of Brazil’s Space Program for lunar exploration as resulted from a prospective approach carried out at the Brazilian Space Agency. The agency is focusing its efforts on identifying activities of potential interest to the Brazilian scientific community, particularly those that can benefit from the knowledge generated by lunar science and associated space systems. Although the content of this chapter is produced in the specific context of the Brazilian Space Program, it may serve as an encouragement for other emerging space nations to prospect their own way forward in space exploration.
