A new engineering ethic is proposed based on a morally deep world view and includes the concept of a global village as well as insights from quantum mechanics and chaos theory. Alongside this new ethic, a design algorithm has been developed and applied to various case studies addressing ethical challenges related to global security, global poverty, sustainability, working with native cultures, global climate change, and the sixth extinction.
