The continuous training of employees is vital in today’s digitalized work environment, yet small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) often lack resources for such endeavors. Consequently, they rely on vocational training organizations for skill development. However, these organizations often lack transparency regarding training activities’ alignment with SME needs and their transferability to the workplace. To address this gap, an evaluation process is proposed to provide transparency, align with SME requirements, and enable SMEs to influence training design. Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model guides this process, emphasizing the importance of assessing behavioral changes within companies. The Traiber.NRW project offers opportunities to collaborate with vocational training organizations, aiming to establish a network in the automotive industry to address digitalization and skilled labor shortages. Evaluation processes, aligned with Kirkpatrick’s model, will be developed to assess training effectiveness. Feedback loops between training organizations and SMEs will be established to ensure continuous improvement. Ultimately, the aim is to establish structured education and evaluation processes, enhancing transparency and fulfilling SME requirements in continuing education. This process will then be tested as part of the project.

摘要
