Development of a Reengineering Process for Educational Change and Continuous Improvement of Engineering Education
摘要
This project aimed to assess the current state of Engineering Education at the National Technological University (UTN) in Argentina through research and to develop a reengineering process for continuous improvement. To achieve the first objective, a series of activities was undertaken to engage the UTN community and relevant external stakeholders, including the National State, which shapes the regulatory framework and provides funding, as well as organizations employing our graduates. For the second objective, we studied the state-of-the-art reengineering processes in Higher Education Institutions, particularly in Technological Education, integrating insights from our initial research findings. This research project has provided valuable insights for implementing a reengineering process to foster educational transformation and continuous enhancement of engineering education. The primary areas of focus include enhancing teacher training and development, integrating entrepreneurship training into engineering programs and strengthening the connection between society and the university.
