Information security assurance and reliability are indispensable for the sound development of the information society. Many issues related to information security breaches occurring today are caused by human factors, and information security education is indispensable for preventing and solving these issues. We also consider that recognition and understanding of information security differ depending on individual consciousness, and it is important to have a learning method that suits each person’s learning style in order to improve the effect of learning. Since an e-learning system is considered to be good for learning that reflects individual learning preferences and characteristics, we have started research and developing e-learning system. We have already proposed the e-learning system which cope with the information security consciousness factor and the MBTI of learners and developed a prototype of windows application so far. In this research, along with more investigation on learning style identification, we propose to implement ontology-based subsystem for creating a learning plan corresponding to a given rubric assessment level to our system, and we also propose a method for configuring information security ontology for that purpose.
