Mandibular Third Molar Extraction and General Anaesthesia
摘要
It is difficult to evaluate the effects of the anaesthetic modality alone on nerve damage. Moreover, rare complications, such as laryngeal paralysis and subcutaneous emphysema, after third molar extraction under general anaesthesia can also occur. This chapter describes the indications for mandibular third molar extraction under general anaesthesia and its complications. We also discuss the complications of both general anaesthesia and mandibular third molar extraction.
