Various statistical methods are used to evaluate soil functionalitySoil function(s), taking into account physical, chemical, and biological properties, as well as to assess the ecosystem servicesEcosystem services provided by soil. When applying these methods to Korean soils, results indicate a score range of 0.56–0.61 out of a maximum of 1.0, suggesting that the health and ecosystem servicesEcosystem services of Korean soils are currently above average. However, additional efforts will be necessary to further enhance their health and ecosystem servicesEcosystem services in the future.
