Conclusions and Policy Recommendations
摘要
This chapter reflects on the findings presented in the previous chapters on the state of rehabilitation services in Uganda, the impact of the intervention and the potential role that this has for the development of Universal Health Coverage for people impacted by major limb loss. It begins with a discussion of the relationship between health systems and national economies as the ultimate source of sustainability. And, in the context, on the role of overseas development assistance. The Chapter then aligns our key findings with the key challenges identified in the first Ugandan National Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Strategic Plan.
