The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) has guided a wave of technological advancements that require educational institutions to prioritize digital competence. This is especially critical in gifted education, where students benefit greatly from tailored, advanced digital skill-building that goes beyond basic digital literacy. This paper explores a case study on an enrichment program designed to enhance digital competence among gifted students. The program, conducted over three months with academically advanced students in the Jubail region, aimed to develop key skills in technology use, digital content creation, digital citizenship, and cybersecurity. Key components of the program included hands-on learning and real-world applications, encouraging students to think critically, make ethical digital decisions, and collaborate effectively. Results indicated notable improvements in students’ digital knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and responsible digital engagement, highlighting the transformative potential of enrichment programs in fostering advanced digital competence. This paper provides evidence supporting the need for comprehensive, enrichment-based approaches to prepare gifted students to thrive as skilled, responsible digital citizens in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
