Creating a brand identity, or branding, encompasses many variables, with trust, loyalty, and customer fidelity being decisive factors. These elements originate from an emotional connection and drive customers to choose the same services or products repeatedly, differentiate the brand from its competitors, perceive it as exclusive, and recognize it as solid and well-positioned. The public can identify it by branding signals—all key elements in this era of saturated markets. This chapter explores the evolution of corporate branding and the influence of the described variables that allow a brand to maintain a consistent image and message over time. Emphasis is placed on the role of public relations in fostering trust and loyalty through strategic communication and stakeholder engagement. Two case studies are presented to assess the theoretical framework proposed by various authors, evaluating its practical success and establishing current perspectives in the field. Special focus is given to the contexts of Brazil and Colombia, which represent unique emerging economies in Latin America.
