Settling on Mars marks a significant move in our excursion beyond Earth. But Mars' challenging environment, with its harsh soil, poses an interesting problem. This chapter discusses the unique traits of Mars' soil. Comparison of Earth-clay and exploring ways to adapt and create new ideas for effectively using Mars' soil for farming, building, and/or getting resources are discussed. Also, the bold idea of adjusting Mars, suggesting ways to make its soil fit for people to live there for a long time, is briefly overviewed. As per the literature, suggestive ways to farm, such as building and getting resources on Mars, are also discussed. Ultimately, the outlooks on Martian clay/nanoclay and a conclusion are drawn.
