High-Intensity-Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)
摘要
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a noninvasive aesthetic technology that utilizes focused ultrasound energy to target specific skin depths, inducing thermal coagulative damage and stimulating collagen synthesis and tissue remodeling. Clinically, it has proven efficacy in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and cellulite reduction by targeting the SMAS and subcutaneous layers. HIFU delivers lifting and tightening effects with minimal downtime, offering a non-surgical alternative to traditional facelift techniques. Its precise targeting of dermal and subdermal layers allows for customized treatments across different anatomical regions. The mechanism involves heat-induced micro-thermal zones, collagen denaturation, and subsequent neocollagenesis. HIFU’s advantages include high patient satisfaction, low complication rates, and rapid recovery. It also improves skin pigmentation via micro-thermal lesion formation. The treatment creates a Thermal Injury Zone (TIZ), typically ~1 mm³, critical for clinical outcomes. Overall, HIFU is a safe, effective, and evidence-supported modality for aesthetic skin rejuvenation and contouring.
