Due to the impact of acne scars on the quality of life of the patients and the high prevalence of acne, interventions for improving these scars are of great value. One of the most effective interventions used in treating acne scars are laser based devices. Most popular lasers used in treatment of acne scars are CO2 and Er-yag lasers (fully ablative and fractional mode). The exact steps and important facts to be considered in this procedure are reviewed in this chapter.
