This chapter introduces innovative techniques to enhance the performance of track-and-hold (T&H) amplifiers essential for future wireless communication standards such as 6G. It explores the use of body-biasing to increase bandwidth, linearity, and for a common-mode feedback. Two fabricated T&H amplifiers are presented: a 12 GS/s T&H amplifier utilizing static forward body-biasing and a 3 GS/s T&H amplifier employing both static and dynamic body-biasing to enhanced the overall performance. Therefore, a small-signal and large-signal analysis is performed to calculate the impact from the body-biasing on the bandwidth as well as the linearity. Both T&H amplifiers are measured and compared with the simulations.

摘要
