Basis stability refers to the case where there is a basis that is optimal for any realization of the interval LP problem. If this is the case, then many problems can be solved efficiently, including the computation of the optimal value range or the optimal solution set. Unfortunately, checking basis stability of a given basis is a co-NP-hard problem. Nevertheless, we can employ sufficient conditions derived with the help of interval techniques.
