Nowadays, the implementation of biorefineries as a sustainable solution to the environmental problems that the energy sector faces are a strategy that has several green economy benefits which complement the circular economy to achieve a cleaner industry and with alternatives that favour the sectors involved. The development of technologies is a task that has had a greater impact on having objectives that favour the decarbonisation of the energy industry in different countries. To understand the behaviour in sustainable aspects, economic, environmental and social indicators have been proposed to support the benefits of the use of biorefineries. In this chapter, a proposal is shown analysing economic and environmental aspects to see the feasibility of implementing a biorefinery technique based on biomass to obtain biodiesel.
