An Empirical Study on the Determinants of Profitability in the Information Technology and Telecommunication Sector in India
摘要
This study aims to examine the relationship between financial management and profitability of IT and telecom companies listed on the stock exchange in India. Here are the following ratios: long-term debt to equity, current, inventory, debtor’s, and profit after taxes to sales. Extensive statistical techniques were used to analyze the data, such as multiple regression. The research indicates that there is no clear connection between inventory levels and profitability. The study found that the long-term debt to equity ratio and the number of debtors did not significantly impact profitability. A thorough evaluation was carried out on the importance of efficiently managing working capital. This study highlights the potential benefits for company managers and academics who focus on different current assets and working capital sources instead of debtors and inventory.
