The Impact of Digital Transformation on the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (COSO-ERM) in Jordanian Commercial Banks

The authors’ research aims to identify the impact of the dimensions of digital transformation (monitoring and detection, secure payment, biometric authentication) on enterprise risk management in Jordanian commercial banks. The research population consists of all Jordanian commercial banks, while the study sample consists of branch managers, department heads, and department employees. Finance, information and software systems, and customer service. A questionnaire was developed to achieve the research objectives. The number of questionnaires analyzed was 231. SPSS software was used to analyze the data. The results show that there is a statistically significant effect of digital transformation regarding the dimensions of monitoring and detection, secure payment, and biometric authentication on enterprise risk management in Jordanian commercial banks. The research recommends increasing the shift from manual work to electronic work. Also that it will be necessary to pay attention to future controls to increase the fight against risks.
