The Relationship Between Packaging Elements and Buyers’ Intentions
摘要
The goals of this thesis were to quantify the effect of packaging components on consumers’ intentions to purchase, identify the most important packaging components (size, price, design, information, color, graphic, production, visibility, and material) that influence consumers’ intentions, and highlight the need for creative packaging in Jordan’s food market, assist those in charge of making packaging decisions, and offer advice and recommendations to Jordanian food industry marketers. In light of this, the study offers suggestions, compares the packaging of two comparable products from two different companies, and examines the relationship between packaging and consumer behavior by summarizing pertinent prior research and the key conclusions from its thorough examination of the fundamental components of packaging.
