This study investigates the specific correlation between marketing deception and its influence on influencing consumer perception in the competitive Jordanian services industry. Marketing deception entails the deliberate utilization of deceptive strategies, inaccurate data, or inflated assertions in promotional endeavors. This study employs a comparative methodology to thoroughly investigate the influential dynamics. This study evaluates the prevalence and effects of marketing deception on individuals’ impressions of service providers by comparing it to past relevant research. The initial results seek to reveal the degree to which marketing deception impacts consumer trust, satisfaction, and loyalty in the service market of Jordan. The study additionally investigates the predominant sorts of misleading activities and their distinct impacts on various consumer segments. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of how marketing deception affects consumer views is of utmost importance for service providers and regulatory agencies in Jordan. This knowledge is essential for developing tactics that promote transparency, ethical marketing practices, and eventually improve the general credibility of the market. This study adds to the existing body of research on marketing deception within the Jordanian service sector. It offers valuable insights that can guide industry practices, shape consumer protection policies, and empower consumers with more knowledge and awareness. In order to sustain a just and ethical marketplace in Jordan, it is crucial to acknowledge and tackle the consequences of marketing deception as the service sector progresses.
