Diseases Deriving from Relations with Other Living Beings and from Conditions Beyond the Adaptation Range

In this chapter, two different categories of diseases are discussed: (1) those deriving from infections, infestations, and other damages caused by other species, highlighting the cases where the role played by alterations of the ecological niche is predominant in the relationship with other species; (2) those deriving from conditions beyond the adaptation range of our species.
