DP series steels are part of the advanced high-strength steels, widely used in the automotive industry due to their high strength, good formability. These steels contain both ferrite and martensite phases in their microstructure. The ferrite phase provides ductility, while the martensite phase offers high strength. DP series steels are preferred for body parts, seat frames, bumpers and many more. These steels can be used in low thicknesses, thus playing a significant role in reducing vehicle weight, fuel consumption, and carbon emissions. In this study, the literature study on different weldability methods and parameters of DP series steels is compiled. For the study in question, among DP steels; DP800, DP1180 and DP1400 materials were focused on weldability. Especially FSW (Friction Stir Welding) and Laser Beam Welding (LBW) parameters were examined in the literature. In the studies examined for the LBW method, the effects of power variations in the laser and distance of the weld to the sample on the mechanical behavior were examined. In the FSW method, the effects of pin length and rotational speed on the mechanical behavior were examined. The aim of the study is to reach the optimum parameters in the literature for weldability in DP series.

摘要
