3D printers are now seen in many areas due to the development of their technology and affordable costs. The costs of products produced with raw metal printers are still far above conventional production methods. On the other hand, printers using polymer-based raw materials are quite accessible. This motivates designers to use 3D printers in many areas. Numerous work pieces in different product ranges are produced from very different materials in enterprises where mass production activities and machines are intense. At the end of production, they are subjected to measurement processes. Measurement is a very time-consuming process, even under mass production conditions. Especially in businesses with a wide variety of products, fixtures used in coordinate measuring devices should be produced and stored according to the number of products. This study is about the production of fixtures used in CMM devices in a mass production enterprise using an Ultimaker S5 model 3D printer and the advantages of its use. In this context, fixture production costs were reduced, a gap was created in the capacities of our existing machining machines that we devoted to fixture production, a flexible production model was adopted with short delivery times, the mass weight of the stocks was reduced, and most importantly, ergonomic problems due to the weight of the fixtures were prevented.

摘要
