In recent years, 3D printing has attracted attention in customized food design and personalized food production due to its potential advantages over traditional production. 3D printer is a technological product that creates 3-dimensional structures by connecting materials or combining their layers. 3D printers are todays production tools that work with the logic of a laser or inkjet printer and are defined as additive manufacturing, transforming products from a digital medium into a solid three-dimensional object. In the food industry, 3D printers play a role in the processing, printing and creation of various complex foods. With the help of this technology, products can be produced in the desired shape, size and taste, and it is accepted as a sustainable technology due to the printing of what we eat. Many properties of foodstuffs to be produced using 3D printer technology should be known. Given their high water content, fresh fruits and vegetables are extremely perishable if not handled properly. The number of 3D printing researches performed consistently on fruits and vegetables is very small, and theoretical and practical applications are of great importance due to the need to improve understanding in this research area. For this reason, in this study, it is aimed to focus on the examples, techniques and points to be considered of the application of 3D technology in fruit and vegetable products, and the studies on this subject have been compiled.
