This chapter is devoted to the study of a class of \(\mathcal {C}^{*}\) -algebras, the so-called homogenization algebras, and their Gelfand representations. Various examples of homogenization algebras are provided and thoroughly discussed with a view to later considering deterministic homogenization problems beyond the periodic setting.

摘要
