In the beginning, synthesizers were manufactured to meet the specifications and requests of individual researchers; now, the company produces various radiopharmaceutical synthesizers to meet wider market demands. This review provides an overview of the prevalence and features of radiopharmaceutical synthesizers, technical aspects of the various functions of the synthesizer, and an overview of the synthesis equipment that SHI has manufactured.
