This research presents a comprehensive study and analysis of using renewable energy (solar energy) in smart cities. It selected one of the Iraqi new cities “Bismayah” as a case study. The results present the influence of establishing a Solar Power station to support the main electrical power generation station (traditional type). Furthermore, it was studied all aspects related to the design and construction of the solar station and its calculations. Based on this suggestion the new solar power station can reduce the negative environmental and the emissions.

摘要
