The aim of this contribution is to analyze how young actors in different territories perceive and interpret violent radicalization on the basis of their social experiences. The paper is based on three case studies. The first one is the Amal Organization, well-known for its activism in the fight against violence, especially against women, and its cooperation with other organizations in the promotion of human rights. The association has involved young people as the main actors in the implementation of its activities in the region of Fez-Meknes, as well as at the national level. This case allows us to understand how young people manage to transform situations of violence into new discourses of tolerance and acceptance of different social categories. The second case study is represented by the Ultras “Siempre Paloma” football supporters in the Tanger region. The purpose of working on this case is to show how sports play a role in the activism of Moroccan youth to claim rights, as well as to grasp the elements that constitute violence and the nature of the conflicts produced within this community and its relationship with violent extremism. The third case study is the Adl wal Ihsane association, an Islamist movement that does not recognize the legitimacy of Imarat Al-Muminin (the position of Commander of the Faithful held by the King in Morocco). Based on these cases, the conclusion of the chapter grasps the boundaries between violence and radicalization in the experiences and practices of young people.
